Song in the ad: iPod Touch

The song in the latest iPod Touch commercial is by indie band CSS. The song is called “Music is My Hot Hot Sex.”

Know what’s REALLY cool? The commercial was produced by an 18 year-old British guy named Nick Haley who doesn’t work for Apple, or an ad agency. Nick made the ad on his own and posted it to YouTube. The video got a ton of hits and positive feedback from the site’s users. It also caught Apple’s attention.

According to the New York Times, Nick got a txt while on the bus from Apple reps expressing interest. The video is now being reproduced by Apple’s advertising agency, TBWA/Chiat/Day.
